Letting Go after 11 years

on Mon, 2023-12-04 18:31

After 11 years on this journey of joy and learning, I am closing down my foundation, having transferred the monies into a donor advised fund. So much has happened since 2012, including grants to many organizations, 16 retreats, 100+ zoom Check-in's, 50+ Gatherings, publication of the Principle Quest Unwrapped facilitator's guide, and three Gatherings hosted at my home (sometimes it was a bit sweltering!@#)

While I am letting go of facilitating retreats, I remain deeply committed to our remarkable community of women – 150+ stong.

An Invitation to 1%-ers During COVID19 Crisis

on Sun, 2020-03-22 11:56

Now is the time for us 1%-ers to step up. Inequity of wealth creation has been in the back of everyone's minds, guilt's been whispering more and more loudly in our ears because we well know we have so much more than most Americans.
So with the COVID19 crisis, how do we do this #1%Pledge? How about by donating $100 a week (in my case to The INN) through a grocery store gift card or directly? That $100 amount is what we 1%-ers took for granted as the price tag for our weekly dinner at a restaurant.

Thanksgiving Day Reflection on Rosa Parks

on Tue, 2019-11-26 19:26

How can we express our gratitiude for all the women who came before us, who showed us the way? Here is one way – be open to learning history you were never taught – as we did during our visit here two weeks ago.

Rosa Parks is known for not giving up her seat in Montgomery in 1955. Our Principle Quest group learned that her legacy at the Rosa Parks Museum reaches far beyond the bus, thanks to Felicia A. Bell, Ph. D. shown here in the center.
